
Avocado Hummus
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked garbanzo beans , rinsed and drained
- 1 avocado , peeled, pit removed, and chopped
- 1/4 cup 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 jalapeno , seeded and finely chopped
- Juice and zest of one lime
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Couple dashes of cayenne pepper
- Salt , to taste
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to your food processor and blend until smooth.
- Adjust cayenne pepper and salt to taste.
