Egyptian Lentils

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups dry lentils, cooked until tender
  • 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Baharat seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a medium pot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20-30 minutes or until onion is soft and broth is absorbed
