Egyptian Lentils
Ingredients
- 2 cups dry lentils , cooked until tender
- 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tomato , diced
- 1/2 onion ,diced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Baharat seasoning
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a medium pot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20-30 minutes or until onion is soft and broth is absorbed.
