Microwave Dessert Oats

This dessert is super fast and easy and guilt-free. All the chocolate gooey-ness you'd expect from biting into a chocolate cookie but with less calories and more fiber. This can definitely be an anytime dessert! Feel free to add more of your favorite toppings

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup water or preferred milk
  • 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp chopped peanut or almonds , optional
  • 1 tsp shredded coconut , optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in small microwave-safe dish. Microwave 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds further in 15-second intervals to prevent bubbling over (watch it closely!)
