Satisfying Strawberry Banana Smoothie
- 1 cup preferred milk
- 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 3/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1/2 medium banana
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup packed spinach leaves
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 3 basil leaves , optional
- Blend all ingredients until smooth.
- If not using frozen fruit, consider blending in a handful of ice for texture or freeze orange juice ahead of time and add 2 cubes in lieu of fresh juice.
Protein: 18 grams (when prepared with dairy milk).
